Dr. Ruchi Srivastava Training . Consulting . Mentoring Dr. Ruchi Srivastava holds the distinction of having
an all round experience in several aspects of the
food sector in India and abroad in areas like teaching,
training, food safety auditing, technical and management
research, corporate service and food retail.

She is recognised in the industry for her huge commitment to
people development, helping them tap their own vast potential

Dr. Ruchi Srivastava is a dynamic consultant and trainer having vast exposure to the food sector in India and abroad. During her 13 years of work experience in the food industry, she has been an academician, author, corporate leader, auditor, researcher, trainer and consultant.  – all in the food sector. She holds deep-rooted knowledge and insight into the industry.

She earned her PhD from IIT, Delhi. In her M.Tech that she completed from College of Engineering of G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, she specialized in Food Biotechnology Engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women,  University of Delhi. 

Ruchi has a deep insight into Organisational Management in Food Processing Industry as that was the subject of her PhD research in IIT, Delhi. Her thesis elaborates the characteristics of an organisation that determine its effectiveness or lack of it. She has worked with organisations in the evaluation and provided recommendations for enhancement of their organisational effectiveness.

She has worked as: 

Lecturer (& HOD) of Food Technology at Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences, University of Delhi,

Food Safety Auditor and Trainer at TUV India Pvt. Limited,

Food Safety Leader in Bharti Walmart and Bharti Retail Operations

Independent consultant in Food and Education Sector

Ruchi has national and international exposure, to industry best practices, by virtue of her past work as a food safety auditor and also her training and exposure to processing and retail operations of  India, USA and Costa Rica. As a consultant and trainer, she has worked with corporate and government organisations, academic and research institutions in India and abroad (Europe, Central America and South East Asia).

She, along with her team, brings a wealth of experience and strong understanding of the food sector, the challenges and opportunities faced by professionals working in the food sector in India and abroad. She supports the development of leaders, aspirants and leadership teams in this sector, equipping them with technical and managerial skills to do brilliantly well in their profession.

Ruchi is driven by a desire to increase the confidence and capability of leaders, aspirants and students through the delivery of quality programs and services that cater to the clients needs. Her passion is backed by strong academic, service and consulting credentials.

Ruchi has this special ability to see an array or patterns in a disarray of diverse data points, overall strengths and improvement opportunities in organisations and aspirants. Likewise, while enhancing an organisation’s effectiveness, she can advise modification of organisational structure, process, work design, communication flow making the organisation more effective while cutting back on redundancies.

She carefully evaluates her clients’ needs and ultimate objectives at work. The clients may be small and big organisations in the food sector, individuals, group of professionals / students, colleges and institutes, ministries, nationally or internationally. Ruchi is driven by a desire to increase the confidence and capability of food professionals, budding scientists, students, corporate professionals, academicians, policy makers and decision makers through the delivery of quality programs and services. Her style of facilitation and coaching provides an important balance of theory and practice to enable professionals to accelerate their learning and apply their skills ‘on the job’.
